1969 Shelby GT350

When you think of iconic muscle cars the Shelby GT350 is high on that list. We have this numbers matching and highly original 1969 Shelby GT350 that just came out of a large collection and is ready for a new home. This Shelby came fitted with Ford’s new 351 cubic-inch Windsor V8, which is equipped with a 470 CFM four-barrel Autolite carburetor. This engine also features a specialty aluminum intake manifold, as well as Cobra-finned aluminum valve covers. The 351 Windsor came with 290 horsepower (@ 4800 rpm) with 385 ft-lb torque (@ 3400 rpm). This powerplant is mounted to a Ford FMX Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a 9in with Traction-Lok rear axle with 3.25.1 ratio. Underneath, the GT350 utilized an independent coil spring suspension in the front, while employing the use of a Hotchkiss-drive, variable-rate, semi-elliptical leaf spring suspension in the rear. The GT350 also is equipped with Gabriel Adjust-O-Matics shocks at all four corners, power steering, power front disc brakes, roll bar, and dual exhaust. There is a good amount of documentation that will come with the sale of the vehicle as well as the Marti Report. The vehicle was repainted once in the 70's to Grabber Orange.
